Not an App, but a Black Friday Must

So I am not a big Black Friday shopper....  which might be referred to as Black November shopping this year since the sales have already started.  My daughter Sara showed me this Facebook page yesterday - Brad's Black Friday - which is a collection of Black Friday Ad's from all over the place...  you name it, it's probably listed.

Bacon, Bacon, Bacon.... the Ultimate Cook Book

Who doesn't love bacon (there is no need to reply for those that don't, and I know there are a few of you).  This is a cool app for us bacon lovers.  Today's A2S is "Better Bacon: Chef Recipes & How to Make Your Own" by Open Air Publishing

The Web site states:  from pig to plate, upgrade your bacon. Watch 20 video tutorials from master butcher Tom Mylan on how to make your own, and then dip into 31 original recipes from the top bacon-obsessed chefs in North America. You can even learn the history of bacon while preparing your own delicious cured pork.

I might make note that there is NOT a reference to bacon dipped in Velata milk chocolate...  might sound weird, but it is amazing.  Last time I made some, one of my sons ate the entire plate full...  I had one small piece while dipping.

Back to the app...  filled with HD videos and recipes....  introducing bacon into your meals throughout the day.  I look forward to seeing your bacon concoction recipes posted as a comment below...  who knows, we might even inspire a new revision with even more good bacon!

Whose Toes are Those

One of the best uses for an old iPhone or iPad is for a child...  I mean a young child...  even like a 1 or 2 year old.  There are an innumerable teaching and education applications for the next generation.  I found "Whose Toes are Those" several months ago for my grandson (who turns 2 later this month).  It is such a hoot watching him play and use an iPad....  something not everyone can do.
